-Interface operationally between various Lexmark Contract Manufacturers (CM) and sub-tier module supplier. Monitor LXK’s aggregated forecasts for the module supplier to ensure they are planning and producing enough to cover aggregate demand at all times. Translate LXK’s supply requirement from all CM’s and negotiate supply commitment from the module supplier.
-When module supplier inventory does not adequately cover the aggregate CM forecasts, modules analyst must actively engage to resolve supply problem. Resolution actions may include, but are not limited to; placing PO’s directly on module supplier, driving supplier to expedite production, working with WW SC Planner, facilitate air-shipment approvals through WW SC, and allocate constrained inventory across various modules.
-Monitor and ensure module suppliers are abiding by contractural flexibility terms with respective LXK CM’s. In the event where no binding contract between LXK CM and module supplier exists, flexibility terms between Lexmark and module supplier will take effect.
-Interface operational between Lexmark SC planners to ensure that supply provided by module supplier adequately covers flexibility requirements between Lexmark and CM.
-Provide logistics assistance at various stages of module product life: new product intro support (component availability, export logistics, etc), steady state, and end of life (component last-buy, scrap minimization.
-Ensure that LXK’s liability for finished module assemblies and excess components is kept to a minimum level during EOL. Outlook and report these exposures to PS &SD WW Supply Chain management.
-Monitor, track, and report the module suppliers’ supply chain performance. Assist in identifying root causes to performance issues and help drive corrective actions.

-Must be capable of actively communicating with various worldwide suppliers on logistics/manufacturing/operational matters.
-Must proactively form productive relationships outside of their immediate department (i.e., with LXK Supply Chain team, various factory resources, component suppliers, LXK development, LXK engineering, etc.)
-Must be assertive and resourceful
-Should have good negotiation skills
-Capable of working independently
-Must be able to work under pressure
-Must be able to take direction from remote sources and respond quickly
Education
-Bachelor degree required
-Business degree preferred
-Emphasis on Manufacturing, Operations, or Supply Chain & Logistics would be ideal
Technical Skills
-Previous experience with modules (electronic cards (PCBA), LSU’s, fusers and op panels) would be ideal
-Basic understanding of manufacturing systems, processes, and terms.
-Individual should have basic understanding of supply chain and logistics systems, processes and terms.
-Example: Inventory management processes and techniques, incoterms, lead time effects on supply chain, replenishment systems, etc.
-Basic understanding of Chinese Import/Export regulations
-Individual must be proficient in Excel
Specifics
-Job will require capability to travel outside of Shenzhen (Asia countries as well as to the USA)
-Individual must be able to attend training in Lexmark headquarters (Lexington, KY USA) within the first 6 months of employment
