- The Vice General Manager is to contribute HHME’s mission, vision, strategy, growth and performance.
The Vice General Manager has the final responsibility for the workshop operations in Nanhui, including workshop assembly, purchase and logistics, customs, sales, technical department (engineering) and technical service department (commissioning).
In the year 2007 the main focus of the Vice General Manager will be on purchase. HHME will develop a larger volume in local (Chinese) purchase. Presently still most of the materials are shipped and supplied by the European offices.
The Vice General Manager develops and promotes all these aspects in close cooperation with the General Manager. After proven capability the Vice General Manager will be promoted to General Manager in 2008. In the interests of the development of his own company and HHME as a whole, he also keeps in close contact with divisional staff and other Imtech companies. His position places him at the helm of the company and he bears ultimate responsibility for its performance. He also actively develops purchase and sales policy and will set up and implement the ISO 9001 Quality Standard for HHME.
Knowledge and experience
• Technical education supplemented by commercial and business management training;
• Purchase experience preferably in Maritime equipement
• Chinese native
• Fluently Mandarin and English speaking. Preferably German and/or Dutch as additional language.
• Management experience in an international company structure
• Well-developed communication skills.
• Experience in the technology of switchboards, bridge consoles and power distribution is a pre.

Living in, or prepared to live in the NanHui area in Shanghai

The organisation
HDW Hagenuk Marine Electronics Shanghai Co., Ltd (HHME) was founded in 2005 and is located in Nanhui (Shanghai). HHME is a Wholly Foreign Owned Enterprise of HDW Hagenuk Germany. The primarily goal is to support the European offices in the assembly and production of maritime equipement, such as switchboards, power distribution panels and bridge consoles. Also support in sales to shipyards and shipowners, as well as on board commissioning is being supplied by HHME.
Product development (integrated bridges, motion control and electrical propulsion), system design (E-power and automation systems) is concentrated in Netherlands. IMO抯 workshop facilities are set up in Germany, the Netherlands and now recently in Shanghai..
In 2007 HHME should employe approximately 100 people.
