Primary Function: Be a key player in an organization that is a market leader in delivering innovative technologies, solutions, and services in the Life Sciences and Chemical Analysis industries. 1. Program/Project Management Lead’ for strategic inbound supply chain process development, deployment, and improvement as approved by LSCA Global Procurement Leadership team and in alignment with committed operational plan initiatives. 2. Provides consulting/support resource to LSCA procurement managers and team members in areas of program management expertise, including data and process analysis, identification of improvement opportunities and recommended actions. 3. Works effectively across the LSCA WW Procurement materials organization to lead, advise and align the management team, procurement staff and assigned project resources in support of defined program/project initiatives. 4. Leads the development, implementation and active monitoring, where required, of specific process measures in support of defined business fundamentals. 5. Monitors industry best practices in assigned inbound supply chain areas of responsibility.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelors Degree in Business, Engineering, or Information Technology, with a focus in supply chain, material science or a closely related area of interest. 2. Strong PC/computer skills with excellent understanding of Microsoft Office or similar applications (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint). 3. Multi-language skills, with business English required. 4. Strong teamwork, collaboration and written/verbal communication skills. 5. Some experience or a prior internship position in a procurement/supply chain assignment, or similar business area is highly desirable.
