Symantec Localization intern program
Assignment Title: SQA intern
Degree required: Master or Bachelor
Major: Computer science and related
Location: Beijing

Requirements:
- Able to work fulltime from 2007 April for 3 months or longer;
- Able to work accurately under pressure to meet deadlines;
- Personal drive for excellence and high work standards;
- Fluent in oral English and good English writing skill;
- In-depth knowledge of Windows or Unix(Linux/Solaris) environments;
- Basic understanding of networking concepts, implementation and technologies; Computer Security knowledge preferred;
- Knowledge of programming, software testing and configuration management.
- At least 3 months full-time working experience.

Responsibilities:
- Work in Symantec Localization SQA team as SQA engineer;
- Performs black box testing on Symantec software in the following languages: Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Japanese and Korean using existing test plans and scripts.
- Enters defects found into the Symantec defect tracking system.
- Prepares computers for testing. Installs operating systems; creates test system images and configures systems as necessary.
- Communicates effectively in writing and in speech.
