Sustainomics is currently looking to further develop its core capabilities 
in strategic and supply chain consulting. In particular, Sustainomics is 
increasingly involved in helping clients restructure their supply base by 
identifying opportunities to source products in lower cost countries such 
as China, Eastern Europe, or Brazil. In this context we are looking for 
"first tier" individuals who are interested in working in an 
entrepreneurial and international environment. Travel to more than one 
continent within a project is not uncommon.

We seek individuals who are highly motivated, with a strong academic record 
and leadership skills. Successful candidates generally enjoy the 
problem-solving aspect of work and they have interpersonal skills, which 
help them work effectively in both Sustainomics and client teams. In 
addition, candidates should have excellent presentation and communication 
skills (both verbal and written). Excellent language capabilities 
(excellent English both written and verbal are a must).

To support management and consultants Sustainomics is currently looking to 
employ interns for a minimum period of 2 months
Interns for Consulting
Description of work:

As an example, Interns have made the following contributions in recent 
projects as well as some admin issue:
 
Contact potential clients by telephone, email, on site visits, etc
 
Assist consultants with analysis and research (via internet, interviews 
etc.). 
 
Record interaction in company CRM system
 
Collaborate with sales team to win transactions
 
Measure and report customer satisfaction
 
Assisting the consultants with the follow-up with clients
 
Preparing of presentations and spreadsheets
 
Assisting the Sales & Marketing department with maintaining and up dating 
the marketing and consulting material, as well as business development and 
promotions, translations
Desired skills/background:
 
An interest in working in a busy international consulting firm (girl is 
prefered)
 
Excellent command of English and German (oral and written), Eastern 
European languages are appreciated
 
Ability to draft and write conceptual papers 
 
Substantive interest and experience in desktop publishing and web-page 
design 
 
Tact, courtesy, friendliness, flexibility, willingness to work in a team, 
and strong communication skills 
 
Strong interest in economics, science and technology issues
