Location: Shanghai
Reports to: Technical Director
Key Responsibilities:
1.Program clear, easily maintainable, and reusable code using server-side languages, including packaged solutions.
2.Perform database design and administration.
3.Perform conversion of data.
4.Perform thorough debugging of own code.
5.Perform quality assurance checks on colleagues'programs.
6.Prepare documentation to complement development projects.
7.Assist in system design and architecture.
8.Assist in technical analysis of client requirements.
9.Assist in system deployment, end-user training and system support
10.Coordinate activities with team members.
11.Adhere to project milestones.
12.Investigate and assess new server-side technologies as they emerge.
13.Assist colleagues in development projects.
14.Serve as a role model for colleagues in terms of passion, excellenc, communication, professionalism and creativity.
15.Contribute to the success and growth of Ion Global.
Requirements:
1.Minimum 1 year's hands-on experience in business application development
2.Proficiency in HTML, XML, XSLT
3.Competent in at least three of the following:ASP / , C#, JSP, PHP, JAVA, VB / VBScript /
4.Competent in SQL syntax (queries and stored procedures).
5.Knowledge of installing, configuring, administering, and using IIS, iPlanet, or Apache.
6.Knowledge of installing, configuring, administering, and using Windows 200x/XP, Unix, Linux.
7.Knowledge of installing, configuring, administering, and using MS SQL, MySQL, Sybase or Oracle.
8.Knowledge in LANs, related protocols, and network security.
9.Knowledge of design concepts desirable.
10.Knowledge of Photoshop 6.0+ desirable.
11.Knowledge of Flash MX and ActionScript desirable.
12.Ability to work under high pressure, with a commitment to meet tight project deadlines, and a willingness to accept challenges and handle change
13.Team player, self-initiative and organized
14.Ability to communicate well in English with colleagues and clients.
15.Desire and ability to learn new technologies.
