Reports to: Scripting Manager
Summary
Build and maintain interactive user interfaces.
Key Responsibilities:
1.Program clear, easily maintainable, search-friendly, and reusable code using client-side scripting languages.
2.Perform thorough debugging and validation of own code.
3.Perform quality assurance on work produced by colleagues.
4.Prepare documentation to complement development projects.
5.Assist in visual design and architecture.
6.Coordinate activities with team members.
7.Adhere to project milestones.
8.Investigate and assess new client-side technologies as they emerge.
9.Serve as a role model for colleagues in terms of passion, excellence communication, professionalism and creativity.
10.Contribute to the success and growth of Ion Global.
Requirements:
1.Expertise in hand-coded DHTML, javascript, CSS, XML, XSLT and ActionScript
2.Expertise in Director, server-side programming and organic search engine optimization are very desirable
3.Knowledge of design concepts and Photoshop desirable.
4.Ability to work under high pressure, with a commitment to meeting tight project deadlines, and a willingness to accept challenges and handle change
5.Ability to work both independently and part of a larger team of programmers, designers and account managers.
6.Ability to communicate well in English with colleagues and clients.
7.Desire and ability to learn new technologies.
