The Van Hessen Group is active in the field of processing and distribution of natural sausage casings and animal by-products aimed at the food industry. Van Hessen bv was founded in 1902 by Ludwig van Hessen and has since developed into a market leader. The head office is situated in the Netherlands with subsidiary companies in Belgium, United Kingdom, Czech Republic, Slovakia, U.S.A., Canada, Australia, New Zealand and The People’s Republic of China.
Our factory in The People’s Republic of China is the centre of our production and therefore figures largely in the Van Hessen Group.
Apart form natural casings and animal by-products Van Hessen bv is also Benelux distributor for a number of reputable manufactures of artificial casings including collagen and shrink bags.
