赴美实习 The Pilot Program for Cultural Dialogue 发信站: 日月光华 (2007年03月02日23:48:57 星期五), 站内信件 The Pilot Program for Cultural Dialogue About PPCD The Pilot Program for Cultural Dialogue (PPCD) was established in 2005 by a group of students at Beijing University. The Program is dedicated to building trust and cooperation between Chinese and American companies through shared experiences leading to an overall improvement in US-China relations. Working closely with business and thought leaders throughout the US and China, PPCD has established two core programs: American Interns in China and Chinese Interns in America. Summer Practical Training Program PPCD’s practical training program places highly-qualified, highly-motivated Chinese college and graduate students with ample business experience in US corporate training programs where they can acquire a firm understanding of American business culture and other career-enhancing skills to bring back to China. The participating businesses will, in turn, benefit from exposure to Chinese business culture thus allowing them to better operate in or expand into the Chinese market. PPCD requires that all of its interns are placed in bona fide training programs and not just in general employment. In the summer of 2006, we successfully sent five Chinese students to intern at Monster Worldwide Inc. and a leading private equity firm for eight weeks in Boston. These five interns are Peking Univeristy: Wang Lang Guanghua School of Management 01本, CCER 06硕 Song Tao School of Journalism & Communication 01本, 05硕 Double Major at CCER and School of Mathematical Sciences Xu Shanshan School of Economics, 02本 Wang Pengfei Guanghua School of Management 02本,06硕 ShangHai Jiaotong University: Cao Yuting Management, 04硕 PPCD is now recruiting Chinese college students and graduates for internships in the United States in the summer of 2007.
