Job Description
Work with senior engineering staff to support product development effort. Create documentation of designs and assist EDVT effort. Develop power supply/system designs and work with vendors to produce parts and participate in the Design for Manufacturing (DFM) effort. Develop and refine power system design skills. Gain knowledge of worldwide environmental compliance requirements.
Will participate in the specification, design, development and test of power supply and power systems. Responsible for factory and field support. Works with team to develop AC and DC power supply, AC and DC power sub-systems. Involves with the completion of Engineering Failure Analysis. Participate in the resolution of line stops and line alerts. Perform Value Engineering tasks.
Skills Required
-Knowledge in complex analog design with an emphasis on power supplies and control/monitoring. Posses good written and presentation skills. Is a team-player.
-Highly motivated and willing to learn to become an expert in power supply and system design.
-Exposure to Analog systems, desire to become proficient
-Have strong aptitude with ability to visualize design concepts and understand how power systems work.
-Fluent English, exceptional written and verbal skills.
-Skilled with Microsoft Excel, Power Point, Word, etc.
