Preference will be given to candidates with proven skills in designing and developing architecturally complex or algorithmically-intensive software products, and those with outstanding track records can be considered for the Principal Engineer position. Fresh graduates with good academic credentials may apply, and will be considered for entry-level engineer positions.
Responsibilities:
1.Develops Windows and other Platform applications;
2.Performs TCP/IP socket programming;
3.Handles implementation-level design, coding, testing including conceptualization;
4.Brainstorms and generates new product ideas;
5.Develops prototypes;
6.Implements or contributes to quality and process improvements as necessary;
7.Performs other related duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Degree in Computer Science, Electrical and Electronics Engineering or a related discipline
Well-versed with Windows, Linux/Unix or Apple Mac programming and development
Proven, in-depth experience with at least one of the following: Delphi, C# , C++, or Java
Strong background in OO programming, component-based design, COM technologies, and modern application frameworks
Extensive experience in both GUI and system-level programming, involving threads and inter-process communication
Broad-based familiarity with Internet technologies, server architectures, RDBMS/SQL
Experience with any of the following areas would be highly advantageous: Computer graphics, digital rights management and cryptography applications, media streaming technologies, document format (such as PDF and SVG) programming, Flash ActionScript programming and multi-platform development
Deep passion for software development, coupled with an aptitude for crafting elegant code based on sound algorithms and architectural design principles
Ability to read, write and speak English
