职位描述: Software Distribution Technician (Olympic Project)
Reports to: Software Distribution Manager
Key Tasks: 刋
* Create, modify, and test Windows OS command line scripts and batch files to automate profile build process
* Create, modify, and test software packages supporting the automated configuration procedures
* Distribute software packages approved through change control
* Assist with configuration management
* Design, develop and provide training for the support personnel working with the software distribution automated build process
* Understand and implement specifications for Finished Products (customization of Windows workstations and servers)
* Create and test application packages using Intel LANDesk package builder
* Document and manage the configuration of Finished Products
* Oversee commissioning of the systems within the PC Factory to ensure that they are being prepared to the defined profiles
* Refine and update software distribution operational procedures
* Use change control to track package and scripting modifications
* Schedule and distribute packages to Games workstations and servers
* Provide software-troubleshooting support to Help Desk.
* Resolve any technical and process issues with Software Distribution and/or LANDesk.
* Support the deployment and production phases
All of these tasks should be focused on:
* Ensuring the full success of the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games, by providing the proper equipment configuration, on time and with the required degree of reliability
* Reusing, as often as possible, existing material and procedures from previous Olympic Games
* Building and/or enlarging the Atos Origin material to be used at the following Olympic Games
Skills: 刋
* Experience in the IT industry in similar position
* Good communication and interpersonal skills
* Excellent knowledge of supporting and configuring Windows XP (client), Windows 2003 Standard and Professional editions (server) at administration level is mandatory
* Experience with Disk Imaging utilities (e.g. Power Quest Image Centre)
* Experience in Software Distribution tools (e.g. LANDesk Management Suite)
* Experience of C++ Network programming is an advantage
* Knowledge of Web Development / scripting is an advantage
* Knowledge of MS SQL Server and SQL are an advantage
* Ability to work as part of a team
* Ability to learn and work in a flexible environment
* Ability to work in a multi-cultural and international environment
* Ability to work well in high pressure environment
* A good level of conversational and written English is required
Daily Hours: Normally, Monday to Friday, 8:30 to 17:30
Test Events, Technical Rehearsals and Games, up to 12 hours shifts including weekends
