CSD China is a key R&D investment within STB China R&D initiative. In CSD, we develop services and tools that are changing the way connected applications are developed and deployed. You will create ground-breaking technology innovations that will make IT Pros and developers ecstatic. We work on core technologies and products around service orientation (WCF/Indigo), service discovery (UDDI), identity and access (AD, MIIS, InfoCard), business process integration (BizTalk), and mobility.
As we rapidly build up this world class product team in Shanghai, we are actively seeking strong test leaders who could effectively grow, develop and manage test team in Shanghai, China. The primary responsibilities include:
- Actively engage in hiring the best and be effective in people development to ensure organization agility
- Define and guide the product test process, collaborate effectively with program management and dev teams to skillfully execute on milestones, deliverables in the timely manner
- Work closely with the global CSD team (we have major operations in the US, India and China) to drive synergy and appropriate integration and efforts to deliver innovative global engineering
- Employ strong people leadership and product test skills to drive the creation of world-class CSD China Team in Shanghai
- Contribute to local customer and partner engagements in concert with BG's customer/partner initiative in order to expand our product influence in the global stage
We are looking for individuals who demonstrate ability to think strategically and tactically about the technical, cross-functional/cross-site test issues. You should have at least experience in shipping one product end-to-end. Test, release and deployment experience with server products and distributed systems is desirable. The ability to communicate effectively working cross-group and cross-site is a must. Finally, the roles requires that you have strong passion about extending Microsoft global engineering capabilities to China, strong desire and capability of people development, strong independent problem solving skills, excellent collaboration skills, strong ability to deal with ambiguity/conflicting objectives and a strong drive for results. BS or MS degree in Computer Science or equivalent is required with solid technical experience.
