Job Function
To be the contact person with our local wholesalers, retailers and consumers in the authorized territories. Investigate the actual replacement position and estimate future trends, to detect the business opportunities and suggest market development plan for Continental tires, to guide the order processing with our distributors and implement correctly channel developing programs and sales promoting campaigns according to the Continental strategy.
Principal Accountabilities
- To evaluate Continental's current position in the local replacement market and evaluate the existing dealers'performance
- To prepare a detailed analysis about competitive environment by key sizes in replacement (products), prices, sales channel, SWOT of Conti and main competitors
- To prepare a detailed proposal of local business development plan including sales target, new distributor recruiting, retail channel developing, local advertising etc.
- To periodically visit the local replacement distributors and retailers in order to collect their comments and suggestions regarding our products, price and marketing programs, and also to provide training to our dealers about our products, sales skills, in-store promotion etc.
- To keep weekly updating actual market information regarding all key brands' sales activities regarding distributors, retail channel, new products launch, price policy and other marketing actions
- To weekly report sales performance of local distributors and all the key issues accounting for the performance and make suggestion for those issues.
- To monthly summarize the market performance of our dealers and the information of other competitors and make analysis for the performance and give improvement suggestion
- To monthly prepare market plan to meet the sales target mainly including sales forecast, budget, new sales channels, local promotion programs etc
- To timely report claims about Continental products and cooperate with field service engineer to process claims
- To coordinate local dealers participating in all market activities or campaigns initiated by our headquarter
Know How Requirements
Education
College degree or equivalent preferably marketing or commercial knowledge
Vocational Experience
Knowledge of the replacement/consuming business, its processes and its products.
