Job Description Consultant\'s mission will be to assist clients in meeting their business objectives by providing superior professional services and solutions, developing or administering BPM (Business Process Management) solutions based on AquaLogic BPM technologies. This role will expand to other technologies such as portal (AquaLogic User Interaction).

> Perform complex tasks for delivery to the client with no supervision
> Produce deliverables on time and that satisfy client requirements
> Inform management of potential project-related problems
> Communicate regularly with manager about project status
> Submit all time and expenses in time to allow bill back to the client
> Develop project documentation that is technically accurate and meets
intended objectives
> Design the architecture of large-scale projects
> Identify problems and recommend appropriate solutions for clients in a
wide variety of circumstances.
> Serve as the primary client point of contact on projects
> Provide guidance and technical direction to team members
> Serve as mentor to more junior consultants
> Take lead on multiple or large-scale projects
> Plan and execute the project work plan and revise, as appropriate, to
meet changing needs and requirements
> Monitor time and resource requirements for each task under your control
to ensure appropriateness
> Communicate closely with the client and manager about schedules,
deliverables, possible risks, and appropriate contingencies
> Provide team members/subordinates with work objectives and desired
outcomes, as well as specific and timely performance feedback
> Participate in hiring decisions, team assignments, and team member
professional development/cross training
> Identify project requirements, strategies and schedules in support of
engagement letter(s) and contract(s)
> Guide client through issue resolution
> Define project standards and ensure their use
> Identify and apply appropriate tools and techniques in support of system
development life cycle
Qualifications/Necessary Skills 3-5 years of experience in a combination of the following
technologies : .Net, J2EE, javascript, XML/XSLT, Ajax
1-2 years experience as an Architect
5 years experience consulting or developing software solutions

Good knowledge of Windows Server, UNIX and/or comparable operating
systems

Understanding of backend integration, middleware products
Working knowledge of administration of BEA Products (ALBPM, ALUI) or
comparable products in the Portal and BPM market highly sought after


Installation and Configuration of products on various environments
(Windows, Solaris, AIX, Linux / Java, .Net)
Development of Portlets and Customization for/of ALUI Portal (Java /
.Net, javascript, HTML, XML, XSLT, Ajax)
Education EducationB.S. degree, preferable in computer science, information
systems, engineering, or mathematics
Advanced degree in computer science or related field is preferred
