Job Summary

Responsibilities:

Responsible for Solaris related test development during Solaris new project development life cycle.
Developing test plan, test assertion to assure the quality of Solaris operating system, especially in kernel related area.
Designing, developing and maintaining Solaris product test suites by using C and shell script.
Analyzing and debugging kernel and application level anomalies and interactions
Writing some technical documentation, including specifications, theory of operation, test methodology and coverage.
Communicating interactively and effectively with English speaking team memebers in different time zones


Job Description

Requirements:

BSCS/EE with a minimum of 3-5 years software developement work experience.
Knowledge of software testing methodology, test plan and test assertion development.
Proficient in Unix (Solaris prefered) operating system configuration and performance optimization.
Product development experience with Unix internals, including kernel level development, configuration and debugging.
Demonstrated excellence in C and C++ design and coding.
Broad knowledge of Unix tools and common scripting languages.
Knowledge of Unix kernel concepts, such as, multithreading, memory management, process scheduling, file system, etc. and understanding of TCP/IP networking and protocols.
Strong analytical, diagnostic and problem solving skills.
A solid work history and a proven track record of completing software projects on time
Ability to work in a TEAM environment.
Creativity is a must with a proven track record of success to match.
Fuent in English communication.

2.Software Engineer (OJP Ref : GC0203439)
Job Summary

The Solaris engineering group is looking for an experienced Solaris test development engineer. In this position, you will be responsible for Solaris kernel networking-related test development, including the creation of test plans, test assertions, and test suites, in addition to working closely with teams located in other time zones around the world.

Additional responsibilities span the entire development cycle, and include requirements analysis, test design, resource planning, issue tracking, and results reporting.

Job Summary

Senior Engineer in a team develop/test superior software tools to determine compatibility of non-Sun hardware with Sun\'s Solaris operating system. This is a challenging role that will allow you to hone your skills.








Job Description

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Act as technical prime in engineering team to develop software tools for testing compatibility of non-Sun hardware with Sun\'s Solaris operating system
- Managing filing of bugs both in the OS and in the testing suite as appropriate

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS:
- Exceptional problem solving skills
- Must be able to deal with customer requests for information.
- High familiarity with Unix-like operating environment
- Basic understanding of UNIX kernel internals
- Experience with C/C++, Jave
- Experience with Perl, shell, PHP, or other script programming,
- Highly developed teamwork and interpersonal skills


REQUIRED LANGUAGE:
-Fluent written and spoken English

Useful additions:
- Unix system administration, and PC hardware knowledge
