职位1：
Title: Intern, Electrolyte additives for silicon based anode materials in lith
ium-ion batteries
Business Unit: Creavis Technologies & Innovation
Location: Marl, Germany
Duration: 6 months (starting April 2007)

Introduction
Lithium alloys do have larger capacities than the common anode materials in li
thium-ion batteries. The drawback, high volume changes during cycling reduce t
he cycle life of these materials. It could be demonstrated that besides using 
composite materials, the right choice of electrolyte mixtures has an important
 impact on the cycling performance. 

Job Responsibilities
Include the lab scale manufacture of anodes, dispersion and coating, the proce
ssing to test cells and electrochemical characterization.

Requirements
-	Master student in chemistry, chemical engineering or material science
-	Enjoy practical work, have a basic knowledge on electrochemistry
-	Speak English or German for communication
