The company is Europe-base and it's core businesses in Greater China include petrochemicals, polystyrene, engineering plastics, coatings, finishing products for the textile & leather industries, intermediates, vitamins, crop protection products and electronic chemicals etc. It is one of the leading foreign investors in the Chinese chemical industry.
The consolidated revenues for 2006 totaled EUR 3.6 billion in Greater China.
General:
Pursue sales leads and achieve the personal sales objectives with the product range of the assigned product(s) in the assigned district. In addition, support business development and customer management by initially identifying potential customers, provision of updated market intelligence to supervisor/team, coordination with customer services/ logistics personnel where necessary, assistance in product promotion, etc.
Main Tasks
Establish and maintain stable long term customer-supplier relationships to achieve territory and personal sales targets
Draft proposal on sales, technical solutions to customers based on clearly understanding and identify existing and potential customers’needs
Consolidate and manage key account customer, including product application, services requirements, buying cycles, delivery schedules and internal regulations like pricing structure for defined account, customer credibility/ profiles to help secure/enhance business opportunities
Coordinate and work with technical/ customer services/ logistic personnel to provide timely supply services with proper forecast input and solve customer complaints if any
Collect market/customer information/feedback to establish and manage customers database
Job requirements
Experience in tannery technician
Sound sales skills
Communicated in English (written and speaking)
