Grand River Investments is an investment consulting firm based in Shanghai.  The firm’s advisory focus is in the Greater China region, with emphasis on a number of specific sectors, including real estate.  The senior team has extensive experience, having worked at global institutions such as JP Morgan, Goldman Sachs, Merrill Lynch and Credit Suisse.

Position:  Analyst (Full time or Part time)

Specific duties include:
- Customized reporting, information gathering and analytics to the consulting team on a daily, monthly, quarterly and ad hoc basis
- General market strategy research, quantitative analysis, modeling and due diligence for specific industry sectors and companies
- Analytical support for special corporate finance projects
- Operational support for real estate projects

Requirements:
- Undergraduate or Graduate degree or significant coursework in relevant areas (business, finance, economics, accounting)
- Excellent time/project management, organizational and follow-up skills; ability to multi-task with attention to detail and deadlines
- Strong quantitative, accounting and financial statement analysis skills
- Ability to work independently under pressure as well as collaborate effectively in team structure
- Strong English proficiency (both oral and written communication)
- Proficiency in MS Office applications including Word, Powerpoint and Excel

Start date:
- Strong preference for the right candidates who can start working in the near term

Other:
- We may consider suitable highly-motivated third year university students for an internship position
