The financial payoff will be structured initially based on $200 ~ $500 per bug fix, depends on the skill level and efficiency of each individual. Andy Hsu, Tel: 13761589322 Job description: Software Debug Engineer (SDE) will be responsible for isolating, analyzing, diagnosing, and fixing bugs in a very large C++ project. Project consists of 170 modules. Bugs are isolated to 3 of these modules. The 3 modules with bugs interact with 5-10 other modules. Each module is 50K - 200K lines of C++ source code. SDE must be able to quickly navigate project and narrow the scope of investigation to a few modules. Bugs generally involve 1-10 source lines of code. The code often has incorrect default behavior or mis-interprets the precise meaning of HTML and CSS constructs it is processing. Bugs, including sample input files and erroneous output files will be stored in bugzilla which SDE will access for work items. Sample bug desciption and files are at: ww***com[点击查看] Candidate qualification: Minimum 4 ~ 6 years C++ experience working on large projects. SDE must be able to read a 1000 line .h file and immediately recognize the structure and purpose of the declarations. SDE must understand constructors, destructors, opaque classes, references, inheritence, etc. Minimum two years working on a text editor to text processing application. Must understand the definition and implementations of 'points', 'twips', fonts, line leading, margins, borders, padding, tables, cells, page headers, footers, etc. A firm understanding of HTML 4.01 and CSS level 1 and 2. Tags, attributes, style=, nesting, , <TD rows=2>, padding-top, @page {, etc. A very firm understanding of core data structures: lists (singly, doubly linked), trees (binary, n-ary), hashes, sorting, recursion, etc. Experience in software development on the Linux platform. Make, build, configure, gdb, gcc -g, etc. Decent level of English communication skills including verbal and written are strongly preferred, but not abslutely required. Additional skills are preferred but not absolutely required: familiar with PHP, Apache, HTTP, WebDAV, SSL, TCP/IP, JavaScript, Ajax, bash, perl.
