Roles & Responsibilities
Global Procurement Operations and IT is seeking a qualified individual in China to be the center of competency for our new strategic IT supporting Lenovo Global Procurement. The initial thrust is Direct Procurement related, but the core processes and tools are common and will be leveraged across Indirect and Global Logistics Procurement as well. This SuperUser will interface with various functions of the Global Supply Chain (which includes Global and Site Procurement teams), Finance, Business Transformation and CIO IT as the czar knowledge base for the Global Procurement business from a process and tools perspective. This role will be highly visible to the functions above internally (Global Commodity Managers, Site Buyers, Vendor Management Group, Management, Business Transformation, Accounts Payable, IT professionals,...) as well as externally including our suppliers and supporting services professionals.
Requirements
1) Related IT and procurement process background, be familiar with SAP, SCM, SRM, BW, Query and Database design tools,,... for industry best practice solutions, actual hands-on and deployment experience on such systems and processes, user education, systems access control, etc. Subprocesses include, but are not limited to:
a.) Central & global contract agreement pricing
b.) Central vendor management group
c.) Supplier performance evaluation and reporting
d.) Spend analysis
e.) eSourcing (eRFx and reverse auctions)
f.) Contract authoring and management
g.) Reporting
2) Strong IT project management experience and skills acrossmultiple functions requiring excellent consensus building.
3) Good Oral and Written English and Mandarin communication skills.
