Job Description
- Applying experience, and theoretical and practical understanding of technology and methodology in Portal software area.
- Take a key role in different project delivery phases
1) Initiation Phase
- Cooperate with BD to identify Portal solution and show Portal development capability
- Identify the key issues that teams face when starting a new Portal project and some approaches to dealing with them.
- Help to define the Portal team structure and Roles & Responsibility
2) Define Phase
- Define the approach to requirement analysis
- Portal requirement model: a) Scoping Portal; b) Conduct Portal workshop with customer to gather requirement; c) Define Portal requirement gathering tools, template
- Identify the initial technical consideration
3) Construction Phase
- Help to organize and break down tasks for the various unit of work in Portal project
- Help to define, assign, estimate, and track all the efforts that go into the design, development, and deployment of the portal
- Apply design best practices
4) Test Phase
- Define Portal testing process, template
- Write system testing scenarios
5) Deploy Phase
- Identify the deploy process
- Promote the Portal to end users
6) Maintenance
- Present solutions to customer for future Portal operation
Qualifications
Your Profile
Strong requirement analysis skill. Familiar with common requirement gathering methods
Strong software design capability, familiar with OO analysis and design methods and tools
Strong programming skill in J2EE(JSP, Struts, Servlet, EJB, J2EE Patterns)
Familiar to UML and other mainstream development and design tools.
Familiar with design and development on Oracle, SQL-Server etc...
Rich experience in Websphere development and deployment
Experience in SCM, APS, CIM and MES is a plus
Experience in J2EE framework, .NET framework, or common J2EE application servers is a plus
Strong English communication capability, speaking and written.
