- Position Description:
Forum Nokia is Nokia's third-party developer support organization, providing technical support, development tools and SDKs, business opportunities, market analysis, training, and other specialized events. Join an ambitious and motivated Forum Nokia marketing team that is increasing the overall development activity by 3rd party software developers on Nokia’s platforms. Mobile phones can do more than ever before, and never has there been a better time to encourage the development of great mobile software, especially with a global leader.
The successful candidate joins an ambitious and motivated team marketing Nokia’s platform promise to 3rd party developers. He or she is responsible for the strategic creation and tactical execution of regional Forum Nokia marketing campaigns for China. You will collaborate with Forum Nokia’s regional business teams and other product and service marketing managers in Forum Nokia Marketing to achieve successful results. He or she drives requirements for marketing activities to the product management team and is responsible for the regional adaptation of global marketing materials.
The regional marketing tasks include the creation and execution of local and regional marketing plans, including product positioning, targeting and promotion, and maintaining and communicating market insight and competitor analysis in the region. A successful candidate will drive 3rd party developers to dedicate their business resources to Nokia’s software platforms. He or she will accelerate local and international developer business opportunities for China-based developers, and market the developed applications to channels and consumers within the region and globally.
Requirements:
- Demonstrated successful history in product marketing, including the creation and execution of marketing plans, and messaging and editorial capabilities.
- Demonstrated strategy creation skill.
- Experience with mobile software a strong benefit.
- Demonstrated strong understanding of China-based developer communities and market opportunities, competitive landscape, operator business models a strong benefit
- Experience with and understanding of Nokia developer platform offering a strong plus
