Job description
Overall, the challenge involves developing and implementing marketing strategy for our hardware, software or solutions, working closely with the relevant division in product roadmap planning of new desktop products for China/India/Asia Pacific. You'll be involved through the whole product life-cycle...analyzing the competition, identify gap, roadmap planning, positioning the product, segmenting the market, deciding the channel mix, pricing, volume, and product service and support strategy.
Responsibilities include:
Competitive Analysis
*Obtain and analyze competitive data
*Establish benchmark objectives
Marketing Requirements Document
*Establish realistic cost targets that are agreed to by the system team. Provide the system team with back up material justifying the target.
*Establish marketing requirements for hardware, software, CTO, regional CTO, etc.
*Establish marketing requirements for early evaluation, first customer ship, etc.
*Establish program priorities for scope, schedule and cost
*Solicit and integrate regional requirements
*Create and publish the Marketing Requirements Document Request for Quote
*Establish cost targets with input from Engineering and Supply Chain
*Ensure that the RFQ document represents the contents of the Marketing Requirements Document Industrial Design
*Review and approve ID Localization
*Specify localization reqirements
*Solicit and integrate country requirements
*Establish Software module options, Hardware module options, certifications requirements, and system configurations requirements
POR & Phase Exit Presentations
*Compile the status, commitments and issues from all the system team functions and prepare the POR slides
*Lead the POR presentations
Supported Configuration Matrix (SCM)
*Provide Program Administration with the marketing information necessary to create the initial SCM
*Provide regional forecast commitments Documentation
*Establish requirements for all printed and electronic documentation
*Draft and proof all documents
*Obtain translations
*Arrange for publishing and duplication Packaging and Labels
*Ensure that all necessary labels are created and ready for production
*Select appropriate packaging and ensure readiness for MV and Ramp
Order Fulfillment System Setup
*Ensure that pricing is loaded into the appropriate systems Product Validation
*Conduct a MV out of box audit prior to FCS to confirm compliance with all product requirements
Qualifications
Yur profile
Bachelor's (undergraduate) degree or Master's (graduate) degree in Business Administration or Marketing or non-business/technical field of study
Experience working with senior management and managing cross-functional teams.
Flair for innovative product solutions
Skills include negotiation, communication, ability to influence others, risk taker, problem solver, and project mgmt skills
Fluency in English and Mandarin
