Position：Research Assistant

Salary:

Responsibilities:
We are looking for a motivated professional with disciplined research skills a
nd strong organizational ability.
The Research Assistant will support the investment team in numerous aspects of
the private equity investment process as well as the team’s administrative n
eeds.
Specific responsibilities will include primary/secondary research, writing int
ernal memoranda, preparing documents and presentations, and managing office ad
ministrative tasks (travel, expense reporting, file organization, etc.).
The Research Assistant will have the opportunity to work in a highly entrepren
eurial environment as an initial member of ASCP’s first China private equity
fund.

Qualifications:
- Previous work experience in a highly-demanding professional work environment
is preferred.
- Strong analytical skills, detail-oriented organizational skills, strong inte
rpersonal skills, and an ability to fit into a small, entrepreneurial, high en
ergy work environment.
- Superior written and oral English communication skills.
- Mature and thoughtful team players with a strong work ethic.

ASCP has started an office in Shanghai, China and is in the process of establi
shing a new investment fund (the “Fund”) principally to invest in a diverse
portfolio of select middle-market private equity investment funds and similar
vehicles with a focus on Greater China, including Mainland China, Hong Kong, a
nd Taiwan. The Fund will also make co-investments into direct operating compan
ies alongside other private equity funds and make other direct Greater China i
nvestments.
