Webmaster - Beijing

This position is based in Beijing, China.

Google is looking for an experienced web developer with great web production skills and a strong sense of clean design. You will be working closely with the global webmaster team to develop and maintain Google\'s international web content. This position requires a utility player with strong HTML abilities, design skills, technical savvy, great attention to detail, and proven expertise in web development.

Responsibilities:

* Designing and quickly implementing clear, effective web pages.
* Responding to a variety of web-related requests across departments.
* Synthesizing feedback from multiple sources.
* Fulfilling several project requests simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines.

Requirements:

* BA/BS or equivalent.
* 3 plus years experience implementing and maintaining web content
* Native speaker of Chinese and fluent in English.
* Expert HTML and CSS skills.
* Working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop.
* Strong scripting and database skills, including Perl/CGI, MySQL, and javascript
* Experience in a Unix environment.
* Excellent attention to detail.
* Keen eye for clean UI implementation and knowledge of website design best practices.
* Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
* Portfolio of work required.
