上鼎工程建设（上海）有限公司成立于2003年9月，注册资本为625万美元，是由台湾中鼎工程集团设立于香港的中鼎海外有限公司与设立于台湾的益鼎工程股份有限公司合资的建筑业企业。
其中，
中鼎海外有限公司是台湾中鼎工程股份有限公司于1993年在香港投资设立的台湾独资建筑业企业，而中鼎工程股份有限公司则是1979年在台湾正式成立的建筑业企业，是台湾第一大综合性工程企业，也是第一家以工程服务业在台湾股票市场上市的公司，全球工程服务企业ENR排行名列百强。
益鼎工程股份有限公司创立于1980年，是由中鼎工程股份有限公司在台湾投资设立，在各类电子高科技产业与生物科技产业等工程领域方面，有着先进的专业技术与傲人的业绩。
上鼎公司目前已具备：
机电安装施工总承包一级、
石油化工施工总承包二级、
房屋建筑施工总承包二级、
电力工程施工总承包二级、

To reinforce the basis of investment, CTCI Overseas Corporation Ltd., Hong Kong became the new shareholder in Aug.2004. Since then, the total capital
of the company has increased to $6.25million by Apr.2005.
Shangding Engineering & Construction Co., Ltd. has gained the qualifications of Category A for EPC general contractors of machinery & electric installation,
Category B for EPC general contractors of chemical & petrochemical, building construction, power engineering and civil & infrastructure,
Category A for Speciality contractors of environmental engineering and machinery & electric equipment installation.
ISO 9001:2000 certified in Mar.2006 by DNV.
Shangding Engineering & Construction Co., Ltd. provides feasibility study, project planning, designing consultation, project management,
procurement service, equipment fabrication, construction supervision, commissioning and maintenance service. Service areas cover
engineering fields in refinery, petrochemical, plant steel mill, environmental projection, transportation, food processing,
chemical plant, pharmaceutical industry, biochemical plant, power plant, energy resource and hospital project, etc.
