Emcore Beijing Design Center is currently hiring engineers to help lead designs for optical transmitters for HFC networks. Successful designs will be deployed worldwide. Emcore has been the leader in this market since its inception and continues to strengthen its position through continued research and development.

Senior RF/Optical Engineer
- Masters or Ph.D. in relevant fields; minimum 3 years of industry or research experience.
- Looking for candidates with strong understanding of semiconductor lasers and fiber nonlinearities.
- Capable of communicating verbally in English.
- Project management experience necessary.
- RF simulation software experience necessary.
- Main task is to lead designs of optical transmitters for HFC and Satellite networks through to manufacturing.

Electrical/RF Engineer
- Bachelors or Masters in Electrical Engineering or relevant field.
- Experience with PADS schematic capture and layout software.
- Experience with RF circuits and control systems.
- Should have strong organizational skills.
- Should be familiar with RF test equipment such as network and spectrum analyzers.
- Capable of communicating in English.
- Main tasks are radio frequency PCB design and layout, electrical design verification, and electrical component management.
