香港城市大学建筑系招助研人员2名,内容如下:

Two Research Assistant positions are immediately available in Department of Building and Construction, City University of Hong Kong. The successful applicant will join our research team to work in one of the following areas: (1) smart materials and structures; (2) Damage identification of cracked structures; (3) biomechanics; (4) modeling of MEMS and NEMS devices; and (5) mechanics of nanotubes and nanocomposites.
The prospective candidates should hold or expect to hold a Master degree and have good knowledge of solid mechanics, composite materials and numerical modeling techniques. Experience with finite element modeling will be regarded as an asset but not essential. The appointee needs to be industrious, used to delivery of work to time, and have the potential to work under supervision. The contract is initially for 4-12 months with possible extension depending on research performance. The monthly salary scale is within the range of HK$7,490 -12,340, commensurate with appointee’s qualifications and experience. The research work may also lead to a PhD scholarship (around HK$ 12,300 per month) in CityU for the appropriate appointee.
