Visual Communication Services department supports our consulting teams in Booz
Allen Hamilton Greater China offices in areas of Graphic design, web design,
multimedia design, translation and editing in the English languages and report
production. To strengthen our Shanghai office team, we are looking for a Tran
slator & VCS Specialist.

Your role
-Reading through original material and rewriting it in the target language, en
suring that the meaning of the source text is retained
-Using specialist glossaries, reference books and internet to find the closest
equivalents for terminology and words used
-Liaising with consultants to discuss any unclear points
-Use your acute sense of quality to ensure that our presentations, client repo
rts, publications, viewpoints and other business documents meet high quality e
xpectations
-Prepare high-impact presentations in black and white or color, occasionally w
ith animation, using PowerPoint, Photoshop or InDesign
-Following our design standards, you will develop consultants'preliminary desi
gns into convincing end products, helping them find the best graphic represent
ation of their ideas
-You will be an active team member in our regional support team in Greater Chi
na (Beijing, Hong Kong, Shanghai, Taipei)

Your profile
-You will have a Bachelor's degree (or above) with a CET 6 Excellence Certific
ate (or equivalent)
-You have an excellent command of spoken and written English; your Chinese wri
ting skills are excellent
-You are adept in MS PowerPoint and have good skills in Photoshop or InDesign
-You are highly attentive to details and have a sharp eye for design and consi
stency
-You are an enthusiastic and motivated team player, able to work in a global,
demanding, fast-paced yet collegial environment and are able to remain calm ev
en under time pressure
-A good knowledge in industries (aviation, consumer goods, energy, financial s
ervice, industrials, IT, logistics, marketing, organization, pharmaceutical, s
upply chain, etc.) would be an added advantage
