招聘职位1：Procurement Engineer
I. Key Accountabilities:
•As a member of large team, person must pro-actively cooperate with R&D,
Sourcing teams, EMS teams and other cross-functional teams to do mechanical c
omponent management, testing and qualification.
•Provide mechanical component engineering support to drive the Interconn
ect, cable and Mechanical component qualification or localization for better c
ost, delivery and equal/better quality.
•Determine the quality risk based on proposed part substitutions and sup
port field issues analysis from the component engineering view.
• Work with cross-functional team to approve low risk mechanical substit
utions.
• Partner with core R&D for high risk substitution.
• Support sourcing team to do supplier assessment and promotion.
• Responsible to drive the supplier technical development and improvemen
t.

招聘职位2：Supply Chain Project Manager
The position will be primary responsible for assisting in the setup of the sup
ply chain to support the global operations primary in the Asia region. This fu
nction will support numerous supply chain projects that may exist within the A
sia region. Projects may be in any of the following areas as well as within an
y other area of Global Operations : Asia Distribution Network design, China RO
HS Implementation, Repair and Return processes, External Manufacturing/Nortel
Supply Chain Improvement programs etc.
.This position will be required to lead multi-function teams from both Nortel
and any contract manufacturer including internal groups like Order Management,
Product Operations ; Product Line Management etc. to ensure the required proj
ects are completed on schedule and within budget. Builds strong teams either a
t department level or project team level.
.High standard of excellence for self and his team, acts as change agent for o
rganization as required. The position is required to work with all level of pe
rsonnel from both Nortel and the contract manufacturers. This person must poss
ess the appropriate power and influence skills to ensure critical milestones a
nd activities are completed on time and within budget. Project management skil
ls and communications skills. Bachelors degree in a technical engineering prog
ram required at a minimun.
