2007 Georgia Tech-Shanghai Summer Program (SSP) will be launched on May 19th t
ill July 22nd . 48 GT students will come to Shanghai enrolling a two-month sum
mer program in SJTU. SSP have been successfully held not only getting GT stude
nts acquainted with Chinese culture but also establishing a profound friendshi
p with our volunteers. During the summer program, various activities and parti
es will be held with all volunteers involved in. It might be a good idea to pa
ir up GT and our volunteers by major so as to have more common interests, back
grounds, etc. to talk about. The majors of the coming GT students include engi
neering, biology, industrial design, computer science, economics, management a
nd so forth.  The GT students enrolled in China will required to have a langua
ge partner. This will be a good opportunity for our students to practice spoke
n English. All of the coming GT students are native English speakers. If any s
tudents are interested in applying to US universities for graduate study, and 

would like to know more information about different universitie
s (not just GT), you can talk to the GT students too. 

Requirements:
1.Be available at most of the time during May to July. (More available time is

 preferred.)
2.Good communication skills
3.Passion on the volunteer work and activities
