MIMvista Corp. was formed as a partnership of individuals dedicated to enhancing patient care by providing medical image review software at a reasonable cost. Our goal is to maintain superior customer service to the users of our software. At MIMvista we understand the demands of a fast paced, clinical environment and offer strong technical support with rapid response time. We continually enhance our product based on our customers' current and future needs.
The software package MIM was developed for the review of medical images and image fusion of tomographic images. MIM offers a comprehensive medical image review package in the areas of fusion, neuro, cardiac and radiation therapy. The software is a medical image volume viewer with fusion capabilities. Fusion means that two separate image volumes can be aligned and that the operator can adjust the imaging parameters to visualize both image volumes simultaneously. Typically one image volume will have little anatomical information but will have enhanced ability to identify a lesion, such as a tumor. The concept of Fusion, with anatomically based modality, enables the physician to determine the location of the lesion more exactly. This is valuable for diagnosis and treatment. The versatile, user-friendly software operates on Windows 2000/XP and displays image volumes from multi-modalities including PET, Nuclear Medicine, CT, and MR from virtually any manufacturer.
MIM has been installed in about 600 sites across the United States. MIMvista Corp. recently received ISO 13485:2003 certification and will be selling MIM in Canada, the European Union and other countries around the world.
