职位描述：
ESSENTIAL FUNCTION / RESPONSIBILITIES:
Perform Mechanical Packaging of sheet metal structures containing High Voltage/Low Voltage Cards, Panels and Devices. Lead mechanical package designer for Locomotive Control Area #1, Dynamic Braking Grid Package, and Control Area #9. Support Control Hardware Leader as required. Perform structural, thermal, vibration, and voltage isolation analysis. Perform structural finite element analysis as required. Coordinate the creation of fabrication and assembly drawings on the Unigraphics CAD System. Support manufacturing during assembly and write change orders to fix any errors or improvements in the drawings. Take lead in technology transfer of owned components.
QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS:
-BS in Mechanical Engineering. MSME preferred.
-Demonstrated experience in structural, vibration, thermal, and heat transfer analysis.
-Knowledge of voltage isolation and current conduction in bus bars, terminals, and connectors. Experience in mechanical packaging of electronics.
-Demonstrate knowledge of manufacturing processes to verify assembly manufacturability.
-Process skills required include bending and forming of sheet metal, welding of sheet metal, routing/bending of cables and bus bars.
-Knowledge of High Voltage power devices, such as resistors and transformers, a plus.
Excellent bi-lingual (Chinese & English) written and verbal communication skills required.
