职位描述：
In the scope of our new SoCs dedicated to the set-top-boxes domain, we are searching embedded SW designers.
A SW designer is in charge of definition, design and implementation of real-time embedded firmware or software. He participates also in the definition of the whole software architecture and in the detailed specification.
The candidates shall have ideally the following skills:
- Motivated by micro-electronic and more generally the multimedia domain.
- Fluent in English (mandatory)
- Strong C/C++ knowledge
- Assembly knowledge
- VHDL and ASIC simulation/emulation experience
- RISC32 bits processor knowledge (ARM preferably, but it can be also SPARv8 or MIPS)
- Embedded OS knowledge (Embedded Linux, VxWorks, ... ,... )
- Open minded and able to work in an international environment, with travels to France and/or USA.
- A first experience with a configuration management system (CVS, Subversion, ClearCase, Perforce, ...)
- Able to work in a team and to apply CMM development processes.
In addition, for one of the candidates:
Able to act as a local Work Package Leader for the project. Leading a work package means, in addition of the SW development skills:
Make transparent reporting to the project leader
Able to organize and manage conference calls
Able to organize a small team to reach the milestones.
