Position:     Software Engineer & Senior Software Engineer 
Location:     Shanghai, China
 
Job description:
You will be joining a rapidly growing team of developing and testing protocol 
drivers for storage technologies. Your initial responsibilities will include d
eveloping software for storage chips, designing test cases, and providing soft
ware support to key customers.
 
Desirable qualification:
  This position requires bachelor or master degree on CS/EE or equivalent with
 over 2 years of software development & test experience.
  Experience in developing software or device driver for Linux OS, Windows or 
other embedded OSes

  Experience in C, and assembly language development and debug experience is r
equired. 
  Strong problem solving skills and eager to learn and team-work spirit.
  Fluent on oral English and the reading/writing

  Working on test cases developmement or hardware system level testing is pref
erred.
  Experience with Fibre Channel, SCSI, SAS, SATA or RAID technologies is highl
y preferred.
  Experience on firmware development is a plus. 

  Ability to quickly learn and come up to speed on new technologies is a plus

  The successful candidate will be a team player who enjoys working in a team 
environment, and good communication skills.

Position:     Firmware Engineer & Senior Firmware Engineer 
Location:     Shanghai, China
 
Job description:
As a Firmware Engineer, you will join a rapidly growing team of professionals 
in the development and verification of real-time firmware for state-of-art Sys
tem-on-Chip (SoC) devices with embedded MIPS processors. Your initial responsi
bilities will include, but are not limited to the following:
  Development of firmware and software in C and scripting languages.
  Analysis and test of embedded firmware written in C and Assembly
  Use of storage testers, Analyzer tools.
  Debug and fix the firmware issues found as well as feature enhancements
  Product release and maintenance
 
Desirable qualification:
  As a professional in your field, you need to hold a Bachelor’s Degree in EE
, CS or equivalent. 
  3+ years related experience of developing or testing production firmware as 
a part of a larger hardware/firmware system.
  Experience with embedded RTOS constructs including processes, threads, sched
uling, synchronization mechanisms, memory management, interrupt handlers, and 
schedulers as well as real-time processing constraints.  
  A background in embedded tools and techniques for implementation and debug a
re required. 
  Have programming experience in C and scripting languages such as TCL/Perl. 

  Strong problem solving, communications and interpersonal skills are required
.
  Fluent on oral English and the reading/writing
  Familiarity with storage protocols, including SCSI, Fibre-Channel, SAS/SATA,
 RAID and enclosure management would be an asset.  
  Previous experience in MIPS architecture and firmware development and suppor
t is desirable. 
  Experience supporting customers also an asset.
