We invite qualified, talented and self-motivated individuals for the position of "SAS Programmer/Analyst" Essential Functions - Translate business requirements into detailed functional and technical specifications - Develop efficient processes based on detailed functional specifications - Assist the business in determining which business requirements can and should be automated and how these automated functions are integrated into the rest of the business and technical processes - Provide value-added solutions to drive the growth of portfolios through CRM Analytics Basic Qualifications - BS or MS Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems or related technical experience - Highly skilled at data extraction and manipulation using SAS - Minimum 2 years of experience in SAS Application Development area using SAS BASE/STAT - Strong analytical and quantitative skills and practical problem solving ability - Good written and verbal English communication Desired Characteristics - Experience in user acceptance test, database programming, Oracle DBA and Data Warehouse development within the financial services industry - Expertise in data cleaning and report automation - Excellent communication skills in English - Knowledge of applied statistics, including ANOVA, Clustering and Regressions - Knowledge and experience of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) - Working knowledge of Unix and/or Unix scripting Work Traits - Able to perform effectively under stressful conditions such as directional changes, tight deadlines and limited resources - Able to effectively work with multiple projects simultaneously - Ability to quickly develop working knowledge of the organization's systems (become SME) - Proactive and detail-oriented
