Job description
Hardware interns work in project teams supporting the delivery and documentation of new products.
Expert in your chosen technology, you'll explore and develop opportunities, evaluate hardware performance, investigate, integrate, develop, define and validate models for manufacturing, and manage vendors.
Qualifications
Your profile
Education:
Pursuing or holding a Bachelor's (undergraduate), Master's (graduate) or Ph.D. (post-graduate) degree in Computer Science, Computer, Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
Experience and Skills:
Classroom, practical (internship or co-op), or applied hardware design work experience. In particular you'll work on qualification, release to production, etc or printers, scanners, fax or other telecommunication products.
Applied experience in one or more of these areas: analog, mechanical, SIC/PAL/PLD, PC board, power system, or high level system design; computer server and I/O technologies, micro-processing, CAD tools/languages (Cadence, Mentor, Solid Designer, SPICE, Synopsis, Verilog, VHDL), electrical signal analysis, thermo analysis, USB firewire, VLSI design/architecture, etc.
