Summary:
The Senior Contract Negotiator serves as leader and “project manager” in contract drafting and negotiating process for all kinds of agreements relating to the company’s new business developments. This position involves the full range of contract-related tasks for new business transactions, including deal structuring and analysis, contract review and analysis, contract drafting, providing revenue recognition analysis and advice, interacting with the DGM o determine strategy and obtain required approvals, negotiating all key deal points and obtaining agreement and signature. Will also involve oversight and coordination of prospective business partners, finance personnel, business development personnel and other key stakeholders.

· Reports to the Business Development Manager
Principal Activities · Devises contract operating strategies and manages complex of high or high value contracts · Drafts and negotiates agreements, including gas purchase agreements, letters of intent, and nondisclosure agreements for related new businesses. May also prepare requests for proposals, solicitations and review responses. · Works with the Business Development Manager to determine deal structure and negotiating strategy and obtain all required approvals. · Analyze significant, and/or unique contract requirements, special provisions, terms and conditions to ensure compliance with appropriate laws, regulations, and corporate policies. · Leads coordination with internal and external stakeholders regarding new business development. · Analyzes new law, regulations and contract trends for potential impact on the Company goals and objectives · Deals with Government departments or related agencies to obtain contractual consents and to build good relations
Competencies and Experience: · Ability to draft moderate to complex, routine and non-routine contractual instruments. · A firm understanding of commercial transactions and contracting in the LNG industry · Working to expert knowledge of contracting concepts, and applicable international contract law. · Excellent internal and external negotiation skills and strong interpersonal skills · Global perspective of business environment and technology.
Educational Background:
Bachelor’s or above degree in economic, finance, law or related fields.
