d solutions for the semiconductor industry. Building upon 65+ years of testing
 technology innovation

In 2004, the company realized that it would benefit from providing 
comprehensive and intensive curriculum to develop the graduated talents from 

leading universities in China to be excellent testing engineers. This special 

initiative, called Agilent Technologies Semiconductor Test Training Program, 

has brought over 62 talented recruits to our team since the program began.  

These trainees have successfully completed the full program and kick-started 

a promising career with us as Application Engineers, Application Development 

Engineers, R&D Software Engineers and many others, to support our great 
product -- SOC Series Tester and Flash Memory Series Tester. Many of them had 

on-job training in Asia, US and Europe. At the end of the 1 year program, 
some of them were employed by Verigy in overseas countries.

This year, we continue to hire talent candidates and develop them to be test
engineers through Academy Semiconductor Test Training Program.

You will be developed through
◇ Practical classroom courses followed with project-based on-job training
   (OJT)
◇ Daily coaching by academy training managers
◇ Technical mentoring by experienced engineers in relevant team


Job responsibility of IC test engineer

◆ Member of application development team for Verigy Memory test system 
◆ Work in cross functional teams to provide test solution service of
   Memory device for IC industry customers 
◆ Focus on test program development of new Memory device and test 
   program conversion from one platform to another platform.
◆ Work on test program optimization to reduce test time and increase
   fault coverage
◆ Develop the high quality software tools which could improve the 
   productivity
◆ Solve the problem from load board design 
◆ Follow and improve project development process
◆ Interact with other members from application development team, 
   division, field personnel to work out the certain solution for customers
◆ Interface and communicate with customers to ensure the project 
   delivery meet their requirement.


Skill and knowledge qualification – Must:
MS in electronic, electrical engineering, or related discipline.

◇Excellent verbal and written English skill.
◇Strong software skills and knowledge of software methodologies.
◇Familiar with Windows, Networking, C, C++ and other programming 
  languages.
◇Positive attitude, self disciplined, highly motivated and good 
  communication skills.
◇­Strong interest in becoming a technical expert
◇Flexibility to travel frequently
◇A quick learner under heavy pressure


Skill and knowledge qualification – Desired:
◇­1+ years experience in semiconductor application development, 
  application support, IC design, or test engineering.
◇Knowledge in semiconductor memory test systems.
◇Experienced in customer support.
◇Good project management skills
