1 Description
This Job Description applies to PA Engineer in RBS I&V Dept. of Access Network R&D Center, BJ/CBC.
2 Objective of the job
To work with Product Approval within the CBC/XR projects.
Obtain and maintain a wide knowledge of Ericsson wireless communication products and I&V environment and methodologies used within Ericsson R&D Centers and in other organizations.
Assure that the product approval activities within CBC/XR are performed efficiently.
3 Reporting
She/He shall report to RBS I&V Unit Manager and RBS I&V Director.
4 Responsibilities
·To define PA scope, make PA plan and book test houses
·To drive PA activities (Safety/EMC/Radio approval, Certificate, TCF and SDoC) to be completed on time
·To review and release PA test reports.
·Coordinator of PAEM
·To participate in required operational development of the PA process
·To participate in testing, e.g. Safety, EMC, Acoustic, etc.
·Responsible for Trouble Report (TR) and Change Request (CR) handling within the objects.
·External support, e.g. NAL and standardization of CCSA/TC9.
·Comply with and follow the directive, instructions and procedures in force in the company and CBC/XR.
5 Main tasks
·Product Approval within CBC/XR projects.
·Development of test cases for specific products and projects.
·Establishment and development of I&V test environment within CBC/XR.
6 QUALIFICATION
·Master or Bachelor degree, major in EE or equivalent
·Good knowledge of Wireless Communication systems
·Comprehensive knowledge on regulatory standards and product approval procedure
·Good documentation knowledge
·Good co-ordination skills
·Open-minded, Excellent communication skills
·Hardworking and responsible
·Strong initiative and learning willingness
·Teamwork spirit
·Independent, self-motivated, enthusiasm and well organized with analytical mind
·Fluent spoken and written English
