As elements of your daily work, you will:
* Collaborate with our Marketing, Engineering and Operations
teams to define and drive detail design solutions to meet product development objectives
* Provide analysis and support to meet business objectives for
your projects
* Work closely within our engineering team to investigate and
define appropriate technologies to deliver an exceptional end-customer experience
* Develop creative and innovative products from concept to
production
* Managing and directing the development process from start to
finish to insure products, artwork, materials, and copy are developed correctly and in a timely manner
* Work closely with many different cross-functional teams
include product designer from customer, tool maker, tooling shop
We want to talk to you if you have:
* BSME or equivalent, MS Preferred
* 2 or more year's experience in product design (preferably
consumer electronic products)(CE or Handheld Product experience a plus)
* Demonstrated experience with plastic, metal and other high
volume part design & production
* Demonstrated experience integrating component modules (I/O,
Displays, Batteries, etc.)
* Good experience of production and manufacturing of injection
molded, blow molded, and formed metals parts/items
* Exposure to Product level validation testing (Thermal,
EMC/EMI, Shock, Cycle Testing, etc.)
* 3-D CAD skills essential, preferably ProEngineer CAD fluency
(Surfacing, Mechanism or Structural Analysis helpful)
* Experience in brand launches, mass retail merchandising, and
sales channels characteristics
* Contract manufacturing experience is a plus
You should succeed in this position if you:
* Have excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills in
Mandarin and English
* Have strong working knowledge of mechanical systems
* Desire to learn from new challenges
* Have strong analytic/problem solving skills
* Have good problem solving skills
* Have good communication skills
* Have 3D CAD skills, but candidates must show a hands-on
passion for their work
* Are able to communicate ideas and concepts verbally and
visually
* Are adaptability to quickly changing contexts and working
environments
