• Web development and maintenance through a content management software. • Local execution and project management of the setup of regional Ossur websites in Asia. Team member of the global Ossur web team. • Minimal graphic design (image processing for web) • Some minimal translations (adjusting smaller bits from other languages) • Project management for smaller projects (have items translated/adjusted for use on the site, have content made, online advertising etc.) • Correspondence and alignment with Ossur on a global level • Assisting Ossur Web Manager in selected global projects* Education University degree is feasible but not necessary. Experience This person should have:
• Interest in web methods and technology. • Basic knowledge of html necessary. Knowledge of css, xml, asp knowledge a bonus, (not an in-depth programmer but at least good a understanding so they could set up simpler services and make fixes in code if needed) Less emphasis on this part since the local programmer could solve all technical matters. • Good understanding of: - "How systems work", how information is structured - The main methods of presenting material online (css, flash, xml, asp) - Marketing. Preferably have a "marketing touch" in that sense that the person has to be able to transfer Ossur's online persona and strategy to the web with the content they're working with at each time.
• Good eye for details, thorough • Language skills, English, Chinese (simple/traditional). Other east Asian languages is an advantage • Needs to have had working experience of setting up websites. • Could very well be a project manager from a company that sets up websites, or a webmaster or web designer with setup/code experience. Language knowledge The Ossur company language is English. Therefore the applicant must be able to communicate in English, both verbally and in writing. Communication in writing is more important than verbal skills. Computer knowledge The applicant must have good knowledge of the following programs or technologies (or similar) • Internet Explorer • Photoshop • HTML Special skills Good communication and organizing skills.
