• Member of Ossur global web team lead by global web manager in Iceland. • Web development and maintenance partially on and through a content management software. • Technical setup of regional Ossur websites in Asia with global team and regional web editor. • Project management for smaller technical projects. • Working with Ossur Web Manager on global technical platforms and strategy. • Key team member for implementation of e-commerce in Asia Education University degeee is feasible but not necessary. Experience This person should have:
• Interest in web methods and technology. • Good knowledge and working experience with Web 2.0 methods including xhtml/xml an absolute necessity. • Experience and knowledge of css, • Good understanding of: - "How systems work", how information is structured - The main methods of presenting material online (css, flash, xml, asp) - Marketing. Peferrably have a "marketing touch" in that sense that the person has to be able to transfer Ossur's online persona and strategy to the web with the content they're working with at each time.
• Good eye for details, thorough • Language skills, English, Chinese (simple/traditional). Other east Asian languages is an advantage • Needs to have had working experience of setting up websites. • Could very well be a project manager from a company that sets up websites, or a webmaster or web designer with setup/code experience. Language knowledge The Ossur company language is English. Therefore the applicant must be able to communicate in English, both verbally and in writing. Communication in writing is more important than verbal skills. Computer knowledge The applicant must have good knowledge of the following programs or technologies (or similar) • Internet Explorer • Photoshop • HTML • Scripting (vbs, asp, jsp, etc..) • Some database knowledge such as MS SQL, MySQL or Oracle. Special skills Good communication and organizing skills.
