Embedded Software/Senior Embedded Software Engineer
Duties
Work with prospective partners and customers in integrating company products o
n target platforms. Work with prospective partners and customers in resolving
issues, including tracking escalated issues through customer final acceptance,
and coordinating resolution of compatibility issues. Review and refine partne
r and customer specifications. Serve as primary interface with customers and p
artners to provide technical status and issue resolution. Work on-site with cu
stomers, up to 25% travel
Qualifications
• 2+ years embedded C software experience, especially low-level software
for consumer electronics or mobile phones very important. Development experie
nce with ARM is ideal. Product integration experience in consumer electronics
or mobile phones
• RTOS experience  (i.e. Nucleus is ideal)
• Proficient in tools and debugging in the embedded environment
• Strong interpersonal skills to interact with partners and customers
• Strong analytical and presentation skill
• Fluent in English and Mandarin 
• Engineering degree Required, BS/MS of CS or EE
Other Pluses:
• Product Hardware experience at the board or assembly level for consume
r electronics or mobile phones is a big plus 
• Experience with project management  is a plus

Software/Senior Software Engineer
Job Duty:
Develop software that runs on multiple platforms (i.e. Windows, RTOS, Linux) u
sing C. You’ll help maintain and develop algorithms, including authentication
& navigation for company’s patented technologies. Develop tools for analyzin
g and improving algorithms using Microsoft Visual C++. Design and maintain dem
o applications to show case company’s technologies.
Required Experience:
• 4+ years of experience in industry software development for senior pos
ition.
• Experience developing image processing or pattern recognition algorith
ms or performing related activities.
• Experience developing software that supports multiple platforms, i.e.
Windows, Windows Mobile Linux and RTOS
• Excellent C/ C++ programming skills and experience
• Good problem solving skills
• Proficient in tools, debugging in the PC environment
• Familiar with real time embedded development environment.
• Experience developing high quality production software
Desirable Experience:
• Algorithm development on the area of fingerprint or biometric authenti
cation or navigation.
• Porting code to different platforms
• Work with Linux and/or GNU tools
• Developing software for embedded platforms
• Knowledge on real time embedded related issues including memory manage
ment, interrupt handling, power consumption, code optimization, …
• Developing games or other applications requiring the use of user inter
face devices
• Java and JNI programming
• BE, ME or related advanced technical degree
