Reell design and manufacture reliable torque solutions for demanding applications. Our line of clutches, friction hinges and slip clutch devices provide high torque in small packages that perform consistently over life.
This position will initially be located at Reell' RO office in Shanghai. In 2007 Reell intends to open operations outside of Shanghai,and this position may be required to relocate to that facility. As a result, the candidate must be willing and able to move to Reell' new facility in 2007.
Mechanical Engineer to provide assistance in the following areas (working with US based staff remotely, or when they are in China).
Supplier development and quality engineering
·Identify potential new suppliers
·Survey supplier capabilities
·Resolve supplier quality issues
·Document corrective and preventive actions
·Perform regular supplier quality audits
·Work with suppliers to convey new product requirements
·Oversee first article inspections at suppliers
Application engineering
·Interact with China customers to understand product requirements
·Learn about Reell' products and technologies, and answer technical questions from sales, customer service, and customers in China.
·Arrange for translation and review of technical information as needed
Customer quality engineering
·Act as first line response to any customer quality issues
·Perform initial failure analysis on-site, or at Reell'China facilities and report to Reell' US or BV operations and engineering team
·Provide or present corrective and preventive action reports to customers as needed
·Coordinate in-country rework, inspection, and/or sorting activities as needed
