Sunrise Systems Ltd. is a successful engineering software company located in Cambridge (UK). Sunrise\'s software PIPENET has the customers all over the world, including China. Sunrise is seeking a mathematical software developer to join its Cambridge (UK) office.

The role:

This position involves working as part of the group responsible for the development of the software. You will be required to work as a member of a team on the development and maintenance of leading-edge technical software, taking responsibility for the full range of activities associated with the software development life cycle.


Specific activities include:

1. Understanding and interpreting software development requirements.
2. Research, design and development of reliable, efficient algorithms.
3. Writing and documenting high-quality code that conforms to coding standard requirements.
4. Debugging and fixing problems reported by customers.
5. Designing and writing testing procedures and test cases.
6. Reviewing test results to ensure that code quality is maintained.
7. Answering customer\'s queries.


Qualifications:

A good degree in a numerate subject (e.g., mathematics, sciences, engineering).


Experience:

A minimum of two years engineering experience, preferably in oil, gas, or power industry.


Skills:

1. Good understanding of engineering subjects.
2. Good knowledge of Mathematics.
3. Good analytical and problem solving skills.
4. Excellent communication in English and team working skills.
5. Quick learning skills.
6. Programming skills would be advantageous.


Salary:

Salary will depend on experience.
