ESSENTIAL FUNCTION / RESPONSIBILITIES:
The roles and responsibilities will include and not be limited to:
* Maintain the operation excellence on IT Infrastructure in Asia such as data and voice network, server, email, collaboration tool, etc.
* Manage IT helpdesk and onsite desk-side support team to establish and maintain IT service support process.
* Responsible for capacity planning and forecasting of IT infrastructure requirements.
* Lead ongoing process improvement and simplification initiatives using quality methodology and rigor to eliminate complexity and increase customer satisfaction.
* Provide leadership, direction and decision making for problem resolution.
* Manage IT security and drive controllership in all aspects of infrastructure and support processes.
* Manage third party support vendors to drive SLA compliance.
* Work closely with ITSG team and GIS team on project execution.
QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree in Information Systems/Computer Science or a related discipline.
Proven track of solid experience on defining, developing and deploying IT infrastructure.
Experience in working for global organization.
Strong interpersonal, organizational skills to work with multiple business parties.
Proven project management skills, strong analytical analysis and problem solving skills.
Strong written/verbal communication in both English and Chinese.
Ability to perform effectively under stressful conditions such as directional changes, tight deadlines, limited resources, etc.
Hard worker, creative, with "can do" attitude. Teamwork and collaboration skill at an international level.
Experience and knowledge on following platforms are preferred:
Windows2000/XP, Solaris, Linux,Tomcat, apache, Cisco and Avaya technology, storage technology.
