At Global Production, part of IKEA IT Operations, we are looking for 2 AD Systems Technician to be located in our Shanghai office. The primary mission of an AD System Technician is to provide reliable and continuous operation of the global IKEA Active Directory forest. Working as part of small, highly trusted team of individuals you will provide the professional technical competence that is needed in order to deliver Active Directory infrastructure services to the IKEA business worldwide.Assignment
-Maintain the health of enterprise Active Directory by providing systems engineering and administrative support for all AD domains and domain controllers at IKE
A.
-Monitor and analyze system activities to ensure maximum performance, efficiency, and availability of the Active Directory and respond to alerts in a timely manner.
-Perform both routine and emergency systems administration tasks for daily operations on production AD systems which range from moderately to highly complex in nature.
-Ensure reliable system state and data backups for domain controllers.
-Regularly practice and refine disaster recovery procedures to restore from major system outages or corruption.
-Perform troubleshooting and analysis of escalated incidents to isolate, diagnose and resolve problems related to the AD service.
-Analyze and implement security updates to domain controllers based on industry best practices and in collaboration with Product Care Infrastructure and IT Security groups.
-Create and update operational and maintenance documentation as required.
-Provide statistics and reports on system performance to the Directory Services Manager and IT Management as requested.
-Contribute to an environment where IKEA culture is a strong and living reality that embraces the diversity of coworkers and customers.
-Assume responsibility for other tasks and projects as assigned.
