Description General:Responsible for support of software for platforms, peripherals, applications or tools using a range of applicable technologies (e.g., programming languages, compilers, assemblers and other tools) and state
-of
-the
-art software engineering methodologies. Responsible for supporting the delivery of products within budget, schedule, and quality guidelines. Scope:

-Contribute to the design of new or re
-engineered software.

-Detail
-oriented with attention to product quality.

-Experience and knowledge of technologies with relevant experience, and demonstrated ability to grow in skills as required by a specific position. These may include, but are not limited to: programming languages; operating systems; firmware; BIOS; device drivers; databases; system, network, operating system, and application administration; embedded software/firmware; tools and utilities.

-Analytical, problem solving, and debugging skills.

-Able to code flexible, scalable, and complex programs using either written or verbal design specifications. Able to deliver software created by project teams.

-Experience with programming languages, databases, Operating Systems, tools.

-Able to achieve mastery of new tools, languages and operating systems with some training and on

-job experience.

-Familiarity with several Software Lifecycle and Quality Assurance methodologies.
